My Story
Born from my personal loss was a desire to slow down, simplify, and find freedom in everyday choices. The key to a satisfying life is not to try and satisfy with more things but more quality of time.
Hi there! My name is Josie and I am married to my long time friend and love of my life Michael. Due to health issues we do not have children but we do have cats that we call our kids. My story is about learning to live more minimal but more abundant. Why it matters so much and the journey I'm on to keep improving into a simple way of living.
I've always been grateful for the things I had and loved the people in my life. I'm blessed with an amazing loving husband who is my rock, family that I am so lucky to have and be loved by, friends who have stuck with me for so many years and faith that has held me up in the toughest of times.
Many times in my life I have intentionally reset and refocused on what mattered the most in the season of life I was in. Now at 49 years old with many highs and lows I have endured throughout the years. I feel as though I am in the midst of learning life's most precious lessons and wiser for the lessons I've learned along the way.
In a constant search for peace and simple but fulfilled living it was a major loss that changed my outlook on everything. My faith grew stronger, my attachment to things grew smaller, my ability to understand what really matters in life became clearer. Time became even more precious than it had already been to me. My screen scrolling time reduced and my reading to learn more grew. Changes that needed to be made to fulfill my purpose in life seemed to be opening up as I started to make simple adjustments in my life. I started to feel less weight on my shoulders and less stressed as I moved forward on my journey to a simple abundant life.
"Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance."
